Introduction: Maya Monroe, a renowned designer, becomes a housewife after marrying Brendan Foster. On their anniversary, her mother-in-law accuses her of infidelity, plotting to replace Maya with Marjorie Sutton, a wealthy heiress. Manipulated by both women, Brendan believes the lies. Marjorie causes Maya to miscarry, and Brendan, deceived further by a fake paternity test, believes the child wasn’t his.
