Plot of Billionaire's Substitute Bride

Vivienne Parker was madly in love with Aaron, but the same could not be said the other way around, for he only married her for "the contract." In it, she agreed to undergo any procedure that Aaron demanded, including those that concerned Gianna and her supposed "illness." At the time of the events in this mini-series, she was pregnant with his children (triplets). During the sexual act that caused her pregnancy, he explicitly told her she was only a substitute in his eyes and that his true love was Gianna, something that obviously upset her.

Throughout this whole time, Gianna had been fostering Aaron's hatred towards Vivienne, alleging, among other things, that she used to bully her in college and that she was a deceitful and conniving wench bent on slandering those she saw as her adversaries and enemies. Naturally, given Aaron's biases and preconceived notions, he would pay no mind to Vivienne's accusations (more on this shortly).

Meanwhile, Vivienne's father got ill very mysteriously and was taken "coincidentally" to the same hospital where Gianna was. Presumably, Gianna needed a kidney to survive, and, in light of the contract between Aaron Vivienne, she had to agree to donate hers so that Gianna would survive. Aaron compelled her under the contractual terms, stating also that this would be her way to compensate for her "bullying."

The Confession and Aftermath

After the surgery, Vivienne rushed to her dad's room, only to find him lying in bed, dead, as the doctors were placing the blanket over him. She ran towards his deceased body, drowned in despair and crying out that he was not supposed to die. Aaron was attempting to calm her down but she passed out.

Soon after, she received a sudden visit from Gianna, who told her she'd let her go if she agreed to divorce Aaron, while also confessing to having played a role in her father's death and her brother's severe leg injuries.

From then on, Vivienne tried to convince Aaron of Gianna's evildoings and ill will, but Aaron took her for crazy. Upon realizing she was alone in her effort to avenge her dad and brother and that Aaron didn't even care for his own children, she tried to procure the divorce, but it wouldn't be as easy as she first imagined. Nevertheless, she got the help of a very powerful and caring "ally."

Vivienne Parker

Vivienne is a beautiful and charming (though overly misunderstood) young lady who's very committed to her family and whose heart exudes kindness and devotion. She had loved Aaron for a very long time, but this love, unfortunately, was unrequited. It would take her a lot to realize that he might never love her as she loves him and was only using her to get over Gianna's initial rejection.

In an effort to earn Aaron's affection, she'd eventually submit to a very skewed marital agreement in which even her physical integrity could potentially be compromised. She got lured into this agreement but didn't think Aaron would carry it out to its fullest extent.

Aaron Campbell

Aaron is a handsome billionaire who's unfortunately prone to exhibit abusive behavior, particularly towards Vivienne. He appears to be a rightful character at times, a knight in white armor eager to protect the people he considered innocent and vulnerable, albeit sometimes at the expense of utter callousness, even towards his own unborn offspring.

His obsession with Gianna would lead him to commit the most brutish atrocities, though he'd still consider these to be justified.

Gianna

Gianna was Aaron's first lover and, essentially, his sweetheart. She initially rejected him, but would soon try to take him back using manipulation tactics. She has beautiful blue eyes - which contrast quite nicely with her exuberant dark hair - and full, sexy lips. Nonetheless, under those pretty features hides a rabid monster who disregards humanity.

She could be described as "chaotic evil" (following D&D alignments), a person with no respect for anything other than her own desires, though she likens herself to a meek sheep when around Aaron in order to garner his support and sympathy.
