Plot of The Exclusive Wish Granter

Dominic was reading a novel about literal gods interacting in a group chat, mocking it as preposterous and absurd. Suddenly, he received a "gift" notification from a mysterious sender. Right after, on the way to deliver an order, he was intercepted by a group of thugs, who beat him to death in order to rob him. He then awakened in a heaven-like location in the midst of what appeared to be a market that sold "pills of immortality" (presumably of dubious quality) and, as he drew his phone, he was taken back to Earth.

Back to his earthly self, he learned he was literally added to a chat group of gods, and claimed some "pills of immortality," which materialized in his hand. He felt as if he were in a role-playing game as he excitedly held his newly acquired item in his hand. The next day, he awaited another gift (money), but, sadly for him, it didn't arrive.

All of a sudden, he was summoned to his superior's office and ran as fast as he could, but, on his way to the office, he stumbled across the CEO of the company he works for, who was about to die. He quickly grabbed one of the "pills of immortality" and stuffed it into Mr. Gilbert's mouth, against the will of his daughter, who angrily yelled at him, accusing him of attempting to kill her dad. To her surprise, the pill worked wonderfully, and Mr. Gilbert regained his senses.

Back in the office, Dominic is confronted by Mr. Harper, his immediate boss, who ousts him for being a supposed "underperformer." It's also here where Dominic discovers that his girlfriend, Izabella, was having an affair with Mr. Harper the whole time.

Fortunately, he counts on the support of Melanie, his female co-worker, who stood up in his defense the whole time, an action that also cost her her job. Dominic and Melanie would get closer together from this point on.

Meanwhile, Mr. Harper learns from his own superior, Carson, that Dominic is Mr. Gilbert's savior. Hence, in order to push Dominic out of the way, Carson (who also held a grudge against Dominic) decides that Mr. Harper would present himself before the CEO as Dominic. The real Dominic, however, would not delay in unmasking Mr. Harper, after receiving another wish from the group chat.

While he's tempted with immediate satisfaction, he soon understands that he has to seek success mostly on his own and take the chances as they come. Notwithstanding, he's grateful for the graces he received.

Melanie

Melanie is Dominic's faithful co-worker and secret admirer for a long time. She's breathtakingly beautiful, both on the inside and outside, engaging in selfless acts to protect the people she deems innocent, even at the expense of her own well-being. Some might even say Dominic wouldn't deserve a woman as valuable as her.

Mr. Harper
